Mr. Wade has been leading Santé Center for Healing since 1999. Wade came to Santé Center for Healing with over twenty years experience in healthcare, eighteen of which have been in healthcare administration. He has over 19 years experience at the Chief Executive Officer level in psychiatric and addictions hospitals. Mr. Wade is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has a B.A. from Hanover College, Hanover, Indiana, and a M.S. from George Williams College, Downers Grove, Illinois. Mr. Wade began his career in healthcare at Mercy Center for Healthcare Services in Aurora, Illinois, where he was Program Coordinator of the Nelson Adolescent Program. From there, he moved to South Bend, Indiana, where he helped open Charter Hospital of South Bend. He was instrumental in designing, implementing, and administrating the clinical programming. Mr. Wade eventually served as CEO of that hospital. After leaving Charter Hospital, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he became the Administrator of Green Oaks Hospital at Medical City Dallas and served on the Senior Management Team of Medical City Dallas Hospital.
George became the co-owner of Sante Center for Healing in September 2007, but has been involved with Sante since its inception. He is retired from Xerox where he was Manager of Collection Services, Manager of Accounts Receivables, and Corporate Trainer. George was also a bank officer in San Antonio and Branch Manager for a Savings and Loan. He was Executive Vice President for Sun Financial.
Dr. Corley is co-founder and co-owner of Santé and is licensed as an addiction treatment specialist, a marriage and family therapist, and sex offender treatment provider. She has over 30 years’ experience working with and conducting research on addictive disorders. She was the 1999 recipient of the Carnes Award for outstanding achievement in the field of sex addiction and received the 1999 Clinician’s Most Valuable Article award by the American Foundation of Addiction Research for her work on disclosure. Most recently she received the Merit Award from the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) and the SASH Board of Directors named their research award the Corley Research Scholarship Award after Dr. Corley and her brother Rip Corley. Dr. Corley is the past president of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health and is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She is recognized as a national presenter and has authored many articles and co-authored the books Disclosing Secrets and Surviving Disclosure and is one of the contributing authors on Making Advances: A Comprehensive Guide to the Treatment of Female Sex and Love Addicts.

Dr. Melissa Pennington is a board-certified adult psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of chemical dependency and eating disorders. Prior to joining Sante, she served as medical director of the Eating Disorders Program at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Of Dallas from 2010-2015. She attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed her psychiatry residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, where she was awarded intern of the year and served as chief resident for two consecutive years. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Addiction Psychiatry.

Dr. Mercer’s undergraduate degree is from Midwestern State University (MSU) in Wichita Falls where she also serves as Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and a guest lecturer for the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Dr. Mercer received her graduate degree from The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at Texas Christian University (TCU) and a post-master’s certificate from UTA. Before pursuing further education in psychiatry/mental health, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a variety of medical settings including cardiology and family practice. Dr. Mercer has served in a variety capacities for numerous professional organizations, including: Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Board of Directors for Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) from 2008-2010 representing the Wichita Falls/Fort worth/Arlington affiliates National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Dr. Mercer has also participated in medical missions to Sri Lanka and Haiti, and is published in a peer reviewed journal, Journal of Arts and Humanities Vol. 4 No 5 (2015). Preji Somar is board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a graduate of Advanced Master Psychopharmacology Program from Neuroscience Education Institute accredited by Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. Preji has 10 years of combined education, training and experience in the field of psychology and psychiatry and has experience working with all ages and variety of populations. After obtaining her Associate Degree in Liberal Sciences from Dallas County Community College and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Texas at Dallas, she further pursued her interest in behavioral sciences by obtaining her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Abilene Christian University. She then further expanded her education and training in psychiatric care by becoming a registered nurse and obtaining her Master’s Degree in Family Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Jessica Hutto is ABPN board-certified in both psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. She completed medical school and her general psychiatry residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. Dr. Hutto was elected as chief resident during her final year of residency. She then continued her training by completing an addiction psychiatry fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Her excellence in humanistic clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service was recognized when she was inducted by nomination into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in May 2015. Dr. Hutto enjoys working with a diverse group of motivated clients, all wanting to improve their mental wellness and quality of life.

Jennifer has been with Santé for ten years as an Intake & Admission counselor, Director of Transitional Living, Director of Outpatient Services, and now Director of Clinical Services over both Residential and Outpatient Programming. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Master’s in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. She is driven to help those struggling with chemical, alcohol and sex addiction, eating disorders, gambling, gaming and other process addictions in addition to co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses. Jennifer utilizes her passion and expertise to promote Santé treatment programs as she oversees Transitional Living, the Intensive Outpatient Program, Family Therapy and the Residential Program.

Pepper earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Masters in counseling at Dallas Baptist University. Pepper came to counseling after feeling drawn to the field by her own experiences. Pepper has been with Santé’ for over five years and is currently the Residential Program Manager. Pepper is trained in Anger Management, EMDR, Intuitive Eating and DBT. Pepper also holds certifications in Problematic Sexual Behavior and Eating Disorders. Pepper aims to find the best treatment approach for each individual’s needs by combining traditional methods with creativity. She brings to her practice a love of music, arts, writing and generally thinking outside the box to find the joy hidden inside us all.
